April 2006 - Georgia Power Storm Center
Georgia Power Storm Center is a command and control area that is used when there are storms to monitor power outages. Here they mobilize technical staff to areas with power outages caused by storms.
TIP installed to large Video Projection Screens and side by side Projectors. Each image can be divided into 4 separate images for a total of 8 images for monitoring. We also installed a projector lift and screen in the conference room with 2 show positions.
Jan. 2005 to Aug. 2005 - The Center for Disease Control's Global Communication Headquarters, Atlanta, GA
The Center for Disease Control's Global Communication Headquarters consisted of
state of the art HDSDI capabilities. We installed 4 30 seat divisible rooms that
can be expanded to 60 seats with the following equipment; Crestron Pro2's,
Crestron UPX's, Barco Icon600's, Evertz AES coax to two wire converters, with
podiums and source equipment.
We installed 1 60 seat video conferencing room consisting of rear screen
projection (Barco Icon600), Crestron Pro2, Crestron UPX's, 4 Sony HD capatible
cameras, Lecturn with touchscreen and UPX panel, HDVHS player, Quadview monitor,
1 Panasonic 42" plasma, Extron Switchers and scan converters, Analog Way HDSDI
to RGBHV converters, Tandberg Video conferencing unit, and XAP400 and 800
mixers/audio conferencing units.
We installed equipment into a 400 seat Auditorium with 40 70v ceiling speakers 3
HDSDI pan tilt Panasonic Cameras with Telemetric's controllers, 1 lectern with
Touchscreen's, 4 Barco Icon600 projectors (Two were dual stack in Drop down

Conversion, and one Yamaha O2R with AES input cards.
We installed equipment in a 300 seat auditorium with surround efx. The system
equipment was very similar to the 400 seat room with the exception being
quantity.
We also installed equipment in the CDC's main press conference room. We moved
their existing equipment from the old location to the new building. We replaced
all of the audio side with a Yamaha DME64 engine and Yamaha D/A converters for
inputs and outputs. We added the Yamaha O2R console. We also hung 2 62" plasma's

touchpanel. The Control was Crestron Pro2 and a UPX processor. This room was a
tight time frame for removal and reinstall. We completed the process in less
than one week.
All of the above systems were linked to the main control room with multiple runs
of HDSDI, Fiber optic's, AES audio, Reference signal, Time code signals, and
Intercom. The build was three floors with rooms located in two of the three
floors. We also ran 240 HDSDI from the "OCC" to the basement for Video
